World Cup Update from Mayor Nunziato Following Game 2

I’m happy to report that the only thing to report following World Cup Game 2 was there were some international travelers visiting Rutherford on their journey to the stadium, as well as considerable media coverage that shined a great light on Rutherford.

As we may continue to receive this positive publicity, it is also a reminder that we may see a greater influx of visitors to our area. I would like to thank our local businesses for helping to create such a welcoming environment for them, as well as the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce, which has been working tirelessly for months, reaching out to media to ensure Rutherford is recognized for all we have to offer.
