Census data helps determine where more than $45 billion in annual federal funding goes in New Jersey. To make sure ALL the residents in our great state are counted, it’s important to complete the #2020Census

Did you know…

  • Census data impacts federal funds that communities receive every year for critical programs and services for schools, students and younger children. These programs include Special Education, Head Start, after-school programs and classroom technology. Census also impacts food assistance, including free and reduced-price school lunches.

  • Census data affects scholarships and grants for students too – grants and loans made possible by federal funding include Federal Direct Student Loans, Title I Grants to schools, Career and Tech Education Grants, Federal Pell Grant Program and Special Ed Grants.
